Nursing Rocks -or- I'd better nurse for a few years

I have 34 points to eat each day. This is a really good amount of points (you know this if you've ever done weight watchers). I have to admit that sometimes I have a hard time using all my points if I stay home most of the day. Today, I had two fried eggs for breakfast for 5 points total. I had a homemade quesadilla with low carb, high fiber tortillas, cheese, black beans and corn for 6 points. That left 23 points for the rest of the day. Oh, I also had half an orange for a snack, that was .5 points. So, we went to Costa Vida tonight and I decided to have a pork taco, but I also had beans and rice with it. That whole meal was 17 points. I still have 5 left for the day and it's 9pm. 17 points for one meal to someone else would be WAY too many, but for me, it's just right.

And that is why I have to keep nursing for a few years, because I lose 10 points once I stop nursing!!!!

  1. Oh my gosh I had a pork taco with rice and beans from Costa Vida tonight too! I can't believe we had the same dinner. Thanks for figuring out the points for me...

  2. ok, time to feel sorry for mom. I saved my points so that I could eat dinner at the Joseph Smith Building tonight for Cannon-Hinckley Club. It was ham, sweet potatoes, broccoli, carrots and chocolate cake for dessert. I felt so good about all the points I had saved and even better when I saw that a slice of lean ham was only 2 points. Then I checked out the chocolate cake. I ate 1/2 a piece - I gave myself 7 points for it, but it's probably more. Sigh. Start again tomorrow.
