I only lost .6 lbs at weigh in yesterday. It was kind of a bummer, but I did go at noon after eating cereal for breakfast, going on a 40 minute walk and drinking a liter of water, and eating 6 doughnut holes (which cost me 7.5 points, btw). So, that might have been why I didn't lost more. But, I was still bummed. I do still like ww, it's helped me out a ton. I plan to do a few things differently this week. Hopefully I follow through.
1. Eat breakfast within an hour of waking up every day (I'm told this gets your metabolism going for the day, etc, etc,)
2. Exercise everyday (walking or my work out video)
3. Be better at tracking my points. (Sometimes, I forget to track like half the day and when I go to do it at night, I leave stuff out.)
So, hopefully this will help me lose more for next week, people. But, I'm not mad or anything.

Good, Lace. I'm glad you're not mad. We want you with us! It does help to have a buddy (as the first WW class we went to advised).
ReplyDeleteYes, I've had success, but I've also learned a lot. Yesterday, I had an afternoon of frustration trying to buy a gift for Alicia and food for the shower so that by the time I got to Great Harvest, I was both starving physically & emotionally. I succumbed to a piece of their delicious bread with butter and honey. And I felt better. And it only cost me 3 points (or so it seemed).
Comments on your list: (1) try to eat mostly only when you're hungry. Although we usually wake up hungry in the morning, eating for some other reason seems counterproductive; (2) I've read that getting our bodies moving can be just as good as exercise - so do that if your day is too busy for something formal; (3) I found the handheld/writing tracker can help me to jot things down as I eat them, and I can look them up later - that way I don't forget what I've eaten (sometimes I forget anyway, but...)
Let us be your buddies. Call us. We're all in this together.
